All foreign visitors to Russia must obtain an entry visa. Visas are provided using a personalised invitation and a voucher. Invitations (vouchers) needed to obtain Russian visas will be sent to XIII Glaciological Symposium participants by Monomax Ltd., the Symposium service agency, based on the personal information submitted online at the Visa Support section or upon your e-mail request (with this form) sent to gs13@monomax.org. Please registrate your accompayning person also. If you are already registred, please use your login and password.
In order to obtain a Russian entry visa, please contact a
local Russian embassy or a consulate (find its location in your country at http://www.russianembassy.net)
for further information. Some embassies or consulates may have rules which
differ slightly from what is usual. We advise you therefore to check in your
country if they have the usual requirements for applications for
tourist visa, which are:
- your passport with photocopy of its vital information
pages (showing name, birth date, passport number, expiration date)
- filled out application form (which you must get at a
local Russian embassy or a consulate)
- three passport-type photographs
- documents of visa support (official invitation and hotel
voucher will be sent to you from Momomax Ltd - the congress service agency,
based on your personal information submitted online at the Visa Support
section).

If you booked hotel through Monomax
Ltd or you stay at your friends' place or make your own hotel reservation, IN
ANY CASE IN YOUR VISA APPLICATION FORM, PLEASE, INDICATE THE HOTEL NAME THAT IS
WRITTEN IN THE INVITATION AND VOUCHER YOU HAVE GOT FROM MONOMAX LTD. This helps us
to shorten and simplify the procedure of invitation letter issue and your
registration upon arrival to St. Petersburg. This will not cause any
inconvenience to you even if you stay during your visit at any other place in
St. Petersburg.
