The first golf course in St.Petersburg was founded in 1996 having been
previosly attached to the popular sanatorium "Dunes". The golf
club is 38 km away from St.Petersburg and is situated on the picturesque
coast of the Gulf of Finland. Today the Dunes club consists of 70 members;
about 150 people regularly visit the club.

One of city's oldest buildings, former permanent
residence of Russian Tsars, now is a part of the Hermitage Museum. The
museum's collection numbers over 3 million items - painting,
sculptures, applied art, archeological finds.
