St. Petersburg's permanent circus is the oldest in Russia. Its program
features equestrian shows, acrobats, tight-rope walkers, illusionists,clowns
and trained animals. A Museum of Circus Arts is located on the 2nd floor.

Leningradsky Zoo is one of the oldest and northernmost zoological gardens in
Russia. It was founded in 1865. Located in
the historical center of St. Petersburg, currently the Zoo has nearly two thousand animals
on display.
