Monomax Ltd. was found in 1991 as an incoming tour operator in
St.Petersburg, the major city located in the North-Western region of
Russia and the country's second largest metropolis. As time passed and
Russia continued to be reformed, it became obvious that St.Petersburg was
attracting not only regular tourists, but also those willing to do their
business by establishing mutual understanding and constructive contacts
through conferencing. This fact highly affected our concept of business.
We decided to put all of our energies into
promoting St.Petersburg as the leading conference destination in Russia
and into helping people to explore and enjoy the best of it, whether they
are visiting on business or for pleasure. This is how Monomax Ltd. started
its Professional Conference Organiser services. Since 1997 the company has
taken part in the organization of more than 500 meetings, one third
of which were international. With such experience Monomax Ltd. has
developed high quality and diversified conference management services, as
well as special tour services; such as themed, event-related, and
incentive tours.

• Nevsky Prospect
The city's main thoroughfare is borne across
series of islands. It contains some splendid buildings - Gostiny Dvor,
the Mikhailovsky Palace (the Russian Museum), the Alexandrinsky
Theatre, Kazan Cathedral and the Public Library. Today it is one of
the most beautiful streets in the world, containing the city's best
hotels, shops, restaurants and clubs. There are five metro stations
along Nevsky Prospect: "Ploshad' Aleksandra Nevskogo", "Ploshad'
Vosstaniya", "Mayakovskaya", "Gostiny Dvor" and "Nevsky Prospect".
